FREE IDEAS FOR EASY CRAFTS AND ACTIVITIES WITH FAS PAINTS, INKS AND DYES

Mixing it up adds a creative and colourful punch to your artwork.

Two different school painting ideas share the same basic painting technique. An ideal project for the classroom.

Mixed media painting:

The idea is to paint the key parts of the painting entirely separately. Then, you paint your background and glue the parts together to make the final picture.

It offers a 3D-like depth and texture to the final artwork.

It requires a little planning before you begin.

3D Impact Paintings:

In the two examples, all the main components have been created and painted entirely separately. Then, it was glued onto a painted background later. You may not be able to tell from the photo, but the fish and the sea shells pop out in 3D with impact and different textures. You can also use coloured paper, crayons, and markers. It is all about creating different textures that offer depth to the final paintings.
