Painting with Marbles
How to Paint with Marbles Art Lesson - FAS Super Tempera School Poster Paint.
Learn how to paint and create a colourful painting by using marbles.
It is not hard to imagine kids of all ages loving this. Lots of colourful fun!
This is a 'great fun' activity. Place some paper in the bottom of the box; it should fit without too much of a gap around the edges. Roll the ball in some FAS Student Acrylic or FAS Super Tempera so that it is evenly covered then drop it on the paper and roll it around. Alternatively drip some blobs of paint on the paper for the balls to roll through. The ball will leave a trail of paint where ever it goes. When it’s trail fades, paint the ball in a different colour and roll it in the box again.
A fun challenge for older children would be to draw a track first, to try to follow with their painted marbles.
There is a lot you can do with colourful paints that you simply just cannot do with crayons, markers and pencils.
